Ingredients

1 lb elbow macaroni, cooked al dente

4 tbsp butter

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

4 cup milk

4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded, mix with Gruyere if desired

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese

1 tbsp olive oil, can sub in butter
-
tsp smoked paprika

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a saucepan, melt butter. Whisk in flour to make a roux (1–2 min). Slowly whisk in
milk until smooth and thickened. -
Stir in shredded cheese until melted and creamy.

Fold in cooked pasta and pineapple. Transfer to greased 9x13 baking dish.

Mix panko, parmesan, olive oil, and paprika. Sprinkle over top.

Bake 20–25 minutes until bubbling and golden.
