All American Berry Mousse

A delicious, patriotic mousse for everyone to enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 package (4 serving size each) strawberry gelatin
  • 2 Banana(s)
  • 1 carton (6 oz.) strawberry yogurt
  • 4 cup whipped topping, frozen, thawed, divided
  • strawberry slices and blueberries for garnish, for garnish
  • 1 cup DOLE® Frozen Sliced Strawberries

Steps to Sunshine!

  1. Stir boiling water into gelatin in medium bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
  2. Stir in cold water and ice cubes to make 1 cup.
  3. Place in refrigerator 15 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  4. Puree bananas in blender (1 cup).
  5. Combine yogurt and pureed bananas in large bowl. Stir gelatin mixture into banana mixture. Fold 2 cups whipped topping into gelatin mixture with sliced strawberries.
  6. Spoon gelatin mixture into 2 qt. (11 x 7-inch) shallow baking dish.
  7. Refrigerate until firm.
  8. Spread remaining 2 cups whipped topping over filling.
  9. Arrange additional strawberry slices on whipped topping for flag stripes, and blueberries on whipped topping for stars.
